How to Dye Hair with Kool-Aid

Hi everybody!!! today I have a really cool tutorial I am dying to show you ... haha get it cuz we are dyeing our hair... ;) Ok! So as you can tell we are dying are hair, but not just with ordinary dye... but with KOOL-AID! Yeah it’s kind of weird to think you can dye your hair with Kool-Aid, but actually it turns out pretty good and leaves you’ re hair smelling really yummy!

This is what you need:
For starters you will need rubber gloves unless you don’t care if your hands are colourful for a week or two. Then you will need some conditioner, if you are wondering the amount you will need, it all depends on how much dye you are planning to make. If you are planning to make allot of dye to cover all your hair, use allot of conditioner and for example you just wanted to dye just your bangs then you should probably just use a bit of conditioner. And don’t worry about what you are adding it to yet because I will get to that question later… Next grab a tooth brush or paintbrush or any kind of brush that you can use to apply the dye to your hair. Also make sure you wear a crappy pair of clothes so you don't mess your nice ones up, obviously. And even though I wear crappy clothes when I'm doing this, I still put a towel over my shoulders. Then the next thing you are going to need is tinfoil and a shower cap or just a grocery bag to cover your hair with after your done applying the dye. Then you should be good to go! :)

How to prepare:
In this tutorial I don't really think there is much to do for preparing to dye your hair, but I do for sure know one main thing. So before dyeing your hair, wait like maybe 5 days. I know that's going to suck but I guess your just supposed to like wait until all of the chemicals are out of your hair so that the dye soaks into your hair properly. And make sure you don't buy the kind of kool-aid that changes colour because I've done this a couple of times and it does not turn out very good, but you Will notice that the kool-aid has changed colour while you are making the dye. It would also be a good idea to cover the floor around you with newspaper or whatever so that if you drop some dye it wont stain. And just one more thing before you start cut up even strips of tinfoil and set them aside.

So to start obviously put your junky, old clothes on then pour the kool-aid packet or packets into a plastic cup or container that your parents don't really care if it gets wrecked. Next add the conditioner and mix it in.add more conditioner if you want more dye. This is the time when you will notice the dye will change colour if it is the kind of kool-aid that changes colour. If you got the kind of kool-aid that does not change colour than ignore the last sentence :P . Ok if you think you have enough dye and its mixed evenly you can take your toothbrush or paintbrush or whatever kind of object you want to use to apply the dye to your hair and apply a thick even amount then cover it tight with a strip of tinfoil.Once your done Id say leave the tinfoil in for at least 5 or 6 hours. I usually keep mine in over night but i also usually never get any sleep :D .

To finish take the tinfoil out and rinse your hair, but only with water and NO shampoo or conditioner. This should last about a week or two.
